True River, latest puzzle hunt by Wild Child begins today Not quite escape room news but I thought you might be interested in this too... Designers of the Chernobyl Septology have announced they have a new puzzle hunt, six years in the making. It features 25 interconnected puzzles to uncover the location of a coin hidden somewhere in the world. It begins today, 8th July and open to solvers worldwide. |

Spencer Beebe, creator of some of my favourite tabletop puzzle games, has begun a puzzle game audio drama. Listen here. I always enjoy ARGN articles, this one is about a Larp at Knott's Berry Farm. Celebrity Escape is a new NZ TV show where comedians try to escape from escape rooms. Matthew Stein of Room Escape Artist has published an article about Puzzlehop, which you can read here. Elsewhere, Peih-Gee Law has written an article for Room Escape Artist on Jubensha. I really enjoyed this series on queer puzzle developers by Thinky Games, here's one of them - an interview with Gwen C Katz. There's a new Geoguessr-like which is about dating artefacts from museums. It's quite fun!
